On April 11, 1957, Switzerland and neighboring countries looked to Winterthur: the opening of the modern and feudal Garten Hotel caused a sensation. Many years have passed since then. So it’s time to take a look back. The former Garten Hotel looks back on an eventful life until it became today’s Park Hotel Winterthur.

73 tastefully furnished rooms and suites offer a peaceful night’s sleep and a pleasant living atmosphere right next to the city park and in close proximity to the old town. Our guests benefit from free outdoor parking (subject to availability), access to the fitness room and sauna, free soft drinks in the minibar and WLAN throughout the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant bloom surprises with varied and refined dishes and the bloom bar is the perfect place to round off the day with an iconic cocktail.

There are 3 rooms available for your seminar; our “Comensoli” seminar and ballroom with a view of the park and two break-out rooms in the basement.

At 56 m2, the Comensoli is our largest seminar room at the Hotel Winterthur. It is located on the first floor, has natural daylight and a view of the park.
